Getting Around AGP Airport
The airport consists of three adjacent terminals: Terminal 1, Terminal 2, and Terminal 3. However, only Terminals 2 and 3 are currently in use for passenger flights. Terminal 2, also known as the Pablo Ruiz Picasso terminal, has three floors with arrivals on the ground floor and departures on the second floor. Terminal 3, the newest and largest terminal, is adjacent to Terminal 2 and features a spacious layout with 86 check-in counters and 20 boarding gates.
Passengers can easily move between Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 both landside and airside. Terminal 2 handles check-ins for EasyJet, EasyJet Switzerland, and Ryanair flights, while Terminal 3 manages all other airlines. The airport features three piers: Pier B (13 gates), Pier C (10 gates), and Pier D (20 gates). Pier B is primarily for non-European and non-Schengen flights, Pier C serves both Schengen and non-Schengen flights, and Pier D is dedicated to Schengen traffic.
For a smooth experience, travelers should note the layout: Terminal 2's ground floor is for arrivals, the second floor is for departures, and the first floor connects to Pier B. Terminal 3 offers a modern space with clear signage and numerous amenities. If you need assistance, information desks are available throughout both terminals. Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
The airport has several security checkpoints located throughout the airport terminals. The exact location of the security checkpoints may vary depending on the terminal you are departing from. However, you can expect to find security checkpoints near the entrance of each terminal and before the boarding gates. Make sure to arrive at the airport with enough time to go through security and avoid any delays.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
If you are looking to speed up your journey through the airport, AGP offers Fast Track lanes for security and passport control. The Fast Track lanes are located in Terminal 3, near the security checkpoint. You can purchase access to the Fast Track lanes online or at the airport. Keep in mind that Fast Track access is subject to availability and may not be available during peak travel times.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
Passport and immigration control at Malaga Airport is located in the arrivals area of each terminal. If you are arriving from a non-Schengen country, you will need to go through passport control before collecting your luggage. If you are arriving from a Schengen country, you will only need to go through immigration control. Make sure to have all necessary documents ready and follow the signs to the appropriate control area to avoid any delays.

Baggage Claim Areas
The airport has several baggage claim areas located in both Terminal 2 and Terminal 3. Upon arrival, passengers can follow the signs to the baggage claim area designated for their flight. The baggage claim areas are equipped with conveyor belts and baggage carousels to make it easy for passengers to retrieve their luggage.
Passengers are advised to keep their baggage claim tags safe as they will need them to collect their luggage. If a passenger's luggage is lost or delayed, they should contact their airline's baggage service desk located in the baggage claim area.
