Terminal 2A Info & Layout
Terminal 2A at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport was part of the extensive Terminal 2 complex, which originally served as an exclusive hub for Air France. Although the terminal is currently closed, it played a significant role in handling international flights, particularly for Oneworld alliance members before the pandemic.
Terminal 2A featured a number of gates designed to accommodate a variety of international carriers, providing passengers with a range of services and amenities. These included dining options, shopping outlets, and business lounges tailored to enhance the travel experience. The terminal was known for its efficient layout, allowing for smooth passenger flow and easy access to gates.
Access to Terminal 2A was facilitated by elevated pedestrian walkways connecting it with other sub-terminals within the Terminal 2 complex, such as 2B, 2C, 2D, 2E, and 2F. This interconnected design allowed passengers to easily transition between terminals for connecting flights. Additionally, the CDGVAL light-rail shuttle provided transport links to Terminals 1 and 3, ensuring seamless connectivity across the airport.
Although Terminal 2A is currently not in operation, its strategic location within the Terminal 2 complex and its integration with other sub-terminals made it a noteworthy component of Charles de Gaulle Airport's infrastructure, contributing to the airport's reputation as a major international gateway.
