Relocated Info & Layout
The Relocated section at Salt Lake City Airport serves as a vital hub for both domestic and international flights. The airport features a single terminal with two main concourses: Concourse A and Concourse B. These concourses are seamlessly connected by an underground tunnel, making transfers and navigation convenient for travelers.
Concourse A, completed in October 2023, boasts 47 gates and is a central area for major airlines operating at Salt Lake City Airport. Concourse B currently has 21 gates, with plans to expand by adding 26 more gates in phases starting in 2024.
Travelers can easily access the terminal through a single security checkpoint equipped with 16 lanes, ensuring efficient processing during peak travel times. The airport also provides eight baggage carousels to accommodate arriving passengers.
A unique feature of Salt Lake City Airport is its efficient layout, which allows for quick and easy connections between Concourse A and Concourse B via the underground tunnel. This design not only facilitates smooth passenger flow but also enhances the overall travel experience by minimizing transfer times.
