Getting Around LIT Airport
The layout of LIT Airport features a single terminal design, which simplifies navigation for travelers. The terminal is structured with twelve gates. As you move through the terminal, you'll find six gates lined along its length, divided equally with three gates on each side. This linear arrangement makes it straightforward to locate your gate.
At the end of the terminal, there is a rotunda that houses the remaining six gates. This circular area can be accessed directly from the main terminal corridor. Here are some tips for getting around inside the terminal:
- Signage is clear and frequent, guiding you to your desired gate or service.
- The compact nature of the terminal means that all gates are relatively close to each other, minimizing the time and effort needed to move from one gate to another.
- For additional assistance, look for airport staff who are typically available throughout the terminal to help with directions.

Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
LIT Airport has two security checkpoints, one located at the entrance of the terminal and the other near the baggage claim area. The entrance checkpoint is accessible to all passengers, while the one near the baggage claim area is only for connecting passengers. Both checkpoints are equipped with advanced screening technology and are staffed by trained TSA officers to ensure the safety and security of all passengers.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
The airport offers a TSA PreCheck lane at both security checkpoints for eligible passengers. The TSA PreCheck program allows passengers to enjoy expedited screening, which means they can keep their shoes, belts, and light jackets on, and their laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags. In addition, the airport offers a CLEAR lane at the entrance checkpoint for members of the CLEAR program. CLEAR members can skip the regular security line and go straight to the screening process, which can save them valuable time.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
LIT does not have international flights, so there are no passport and immigration control locations at the airport. However, passengers traveling to international destinations will go through passport and immigration control at their port of entry into the United States.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
At Little Rock Clinton National Airport, there are several TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints located throughout the airport. These checkpoints are designed to ensure the safety and security of all passengers and their belongings. TSA Pre Check is a program that allows eligible passengers to expedite their security screening process, making it quicker and more efficient. To be eligible for TSA Pre Check, passengers must apply and pass a background check. Once approved, they can use dedicated lanes and do not have to remove their shoes, belts, or light jackets.

To apply for Global Entry, passengers must complete an online application and attend an interview at a Global Entry Enrollment Center. Some nearby Global Entry locations include Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston.
