Aegean Airlines: Aircraft Fleet
Aegean Airlines is the largest airline in Greece and operates a modern fleet of aircraft to destinations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The airline has a total of 61 aircraft in its fleet.
The majority of Aegean Airlines' fleet consists of Airbus aircraft, including the A320 and A321 models. The airline has 46 Airbus planes in total, with 37 A320s and 9 A321s. These aircraft are used for short and medium-haul flights, with a seating capacity ranging from 168 to 220 passengers.
In addition to its Airbus fleet, Aegean Airlines also operates 15 Bombardier Dash 8-Q400 aircraft. These planes are used for regional flights and have a seating capacity of 78 passengers.
Aegean Airlines has made significant deals in recent years to expand and modernize its fleet. In 2018, the airline announced an order for 30 new Airbus A320neo and A321neo aircraft, which are more fuel-efficient and have a longer range than the airline's current planes. The first of these new aircraft is expected to be delivered in 2021.
