Air Serbia: Aircraft Fleet
Air Serbia is the flag carrier of Serbia and has a fleet size of 20 aircraft. The airline operates a mix of Airbus and ATR aircraft to serve its domestic and international destinations.
The Airbus fleet of Air Serbia consists of 10 aircraft, including 6 Airbus A319 and 4 Airbus A320. These aircraft are used for short and medium-haul flights and have a seating capacity of 144 and 174 passengers, respectively. The A319 is the smaller variant of the A320 and is used for flights to nearby destinations, while the A320 is used for longer routes.
The ATR fleet of Air Serbia consists of 10 aircraft, including 8 ATR 72-500 and 2 ATR 72-600. These aircraft are used for regional flights and have a seating capacity of 66 passengers. The ATR 72-500 is the older variant and is being gradually replaced by the newer ATR 72-600, which offers better fuel efficiency and passenger comfort.
In 2018, Air Serbia signed a deal with Airbus for the purchase of 10 Airbus A320neo aircraft, which are expected to be delivered in 2019 and 2020. The A320neo is the latest variant of the A320 family and offers improved fuel efficiency and reduced noise levels.
