Airasia, a low-cost airline based in Malaysia, operates a fleet of Airbus aircraft. The airline has a total of 261 aircraft in its fleet, with an average age of 5.1 years.
The majority of Airasia's fleet consists of Airbus A320-200, with a total of 186 aircraft. The airline also operates 30 Airbus A320neo, which is a more fuel-efficient version of the A320. In addition, Airasia has 15 Airbus A321-200, which is a larger version of the A320, and 30 Airbus A330-300, which is used for long-haul flights.
Recently, Airasia has made significant deals to expand its fleet. The airline signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Airbus to purchase an additional 100 Airbus A321neo. This deal is expected to help Airasia expand its network and increase its capacity.
