Cathay Pacific Airways is a Hong Kong-based airline that operates flights to over 190 destinations in more than 60 countries worldwide. The airline has a modern fleet of aircraft that includes both wide-body and narrow-body planes.
The airline's fleet consists of Airbus and Boeing aircraft. The Airbus A330 and A350 are the mainstay of Cathay Pacific's fleet, with a total of 34 and 52 aircraft respectively. The airline also operates 12 Boeing 777-300ERs, 21 Boeing 777-300s, and 6 Boeing 747-400s. In addition, Cathay Pacific has ordered 21 Boeing 777-9X aircraft, which are expected to be delivered in the coming years.
Cathay Pacific has made significant deals regarding aircraft in recent years. In 2014, the airline placed an order for 21 Boeing 777-9X aircraft, which are expected to replace the airline's older Boeing 747-400s. In 2018, the airline announced that it had ordered 32 Airbus A321neo aircraft, which will be used to replace the airline's older Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft.
