China Airlines: Aircraft Fleet
China Airlines is the largest airline in Taiwan and operates a modern fleet of aircraft to destinations across Asia, Europe, North America, and Oceania. The airline has a total of 88 aircraft in its fleet.
The China Airlines fleet consists of a variety of aircraft types from different manufacturers. The airline's long-haul fleet is primarily composed of Airbus A350-900 and Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. China Airlines currently operates 14 A350-900s and 10 777-300ERs. The airline also has a fleet of Airbus A330-300s, Boeing 737-800s, and regional Embraer E190s.
In addition to its current fleet, China Airlines has made significant deals to acquire new aircraft. The airline signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Airbus to purchase 11 additional A321neo aircraft. The airline also has plans to replace its older Boeing 747-400 fleet with newer Boeing 777X aircraft in the coming years.
