China Eastern Airlines is one of the major airlines in China, operating both domestic and international flights. The airline has a diverse fleet of aircraft, consisting of different types and models from various manufacturers.

China Eastern Airlines has made significant deals in the past regarding its aircraft fleet. In 2014, the airline signed a purchase agreement with Airbus for 70 A320neo aircraft, which are more fuel-efficient and have lower emissions than previous models. In 2017, the airline also signed a deal with Boeing for 20 777-300ER aircraft, which are used for long-haul international flights.
