Unfortunately, China Eastern Airlines does not accept animals in the cabin on any of their flights. However, small cats, dogs, and household birds are accepted as checked baggage on board a number of China Eastern flights.
The combined weight of the pet and carrier should not exceed 70 lbs (32 kg). Please note that animals are charged as excess baggage, and the price varies between $165-440 depending on the size and weight of your pet and carrier.

For pets traveling in the hold, medium-sized carriers should not exceed the dimensions of 32" x 21" x 22" (81 cm x 55 cm x 58 cm), and large-sized carriers should not exceed 36" x 60" x 26" (91 cm x 60 cm x 66 cm). It is important that carriers are escape and leak-proof. All the components of the carrier, including the nuts, latch, bolts, and other locking parts, must work properly. Animals must be able to turn around, lie down, and stand up comfortably inside the carrier. Additionally, the carrier must be well-ventilated for the animal to breathe in the hold.
For Fido's safety, animals will not be allowed to fly if the temperature is forecast to be below minus 12℃ or above 30℃. Furthermore, snub-nosed or pug-nosed dogs and cats, such as American Pit Bull Terrier, Tosa Inu, Fila Brasileiro, and Argentine Dogo, are not allowed to fly.
Keep in mind that air carriers can change these policies at any time, so you should always check directly with the airline you are traveling on, before you book, for the most accurate and up-to-date information.
