COPA Airlines: Aircraft Fleet
COPA Airlines is a Panamanian airline that operates flights to more than 80 destinations in North, Central, and South America, as well as the Caribbean. The airline has a modern fleet of aircraft that allows it to offer a comfortable and safe travel experience to its passengers.
The COPA Airlines fleet consists of Boeing and Embraer aircraft. The airline has a total of 98 aircraft, with an average age of 7.4 years. The following is a breakdown of the aircraft types and quantities:
- Boeing 737-700: 10
- Boeing 737-800: 68
- Boeing 737 MAX 9: 5
- Embraer E190: 15
In 2018, COPA Airlines signed a deal with Boeing for the purchase of 61 737 MAX aircraft, which will replace the airline's older planes and help it to expand its route network. The first 737 MAX was delivered to the airline in 2018, and the rest of the aircraft are expected to be delivered by 2025.
