In the passenger cabin, pets and their carriers must not exceed 17 lbs (8 kg). Your pet will be stowed on the floor under the seat for the duration of the flight. The fees for this service are 150 HRK for domestic flights, 50 EUR for international flights within Europe, and $100 for international flights outside Europe.
If your pet exceeds the weight limit for the cabin, they can be transported in the hold instead. In the hold, 3 puppies or kittens from the same litter, weighing a maximum of 17 lbs (8 kg) each, can travel together in the same carrier. Alternatively, a maximum of 2 adult animals weighing up to 30 lbs (14 kg) each, that are used to each other, can be transported in the same carrier.

The fees for pets traveling in the hold vary depending on carrier size. For medium carriers with maximum dimensions of 31" H x 21" W x 21" D (80 cm x 55 cm x 55 cm), the fees are 250 HRK for domestic flights, 100 EUR for international flights within Europe, and $200 for international flights outside Europe. For larger carriers with maximum dimensions of 49" H x 29" W x 33" D (125 cm x 75 cm x 85 cm), the fees are 300 HRK for domestic flights, 200 EUR for international flights within Europe, and $400 for international flights outside Europe.
When transporting pets in the cabin, carriers must not exceed dimensions of 45" (115 cm). Soft carriers should also be water-resistant on the bottom. These carriers are stored underneath the seat in front of you for the duration of the journey. For pets traveling in the hold, medium carriers should not exceed 31" x 21" x 21" (80 cm x 55 cm x 55 cm) and larger carriers should not exceed 49" x 29" x 33" (125 cm x 75 cm x 85 cm). It is important to ensure that your pet can stand up and move around comfortably in the carrier. The carrier should have absorbent material on the bottom, food and water bowls connected to the inside, and proper ventilation on three sides.
It is important to note that brachycephalic animals (dogs and cats with very short noses) cannot be transported in cargo holds on certain flights. However, they may be accepted in the passenger cabin if they meet the necessary requirements. Additionally, Croatia Airlines allows a maximum of 2 animals, 2 dogs, and 2 cats on the same flight. It is not permitted for 1 dog and 1 cat to fly together.
