Egyptair: Aircraft Fleet

Egyptair, the flag carrier airline of Egypt, has a diverse fleet of aircraft that allows it to operate flights to various destinations around the world. The airline has a total of 66 aircraft in its fleet.

The Egyptair fleet consists of different types of aircraft from various manufacturers. The airline has 29 Airbus planes, including 15 A320-200, 4 A321-200, 4 A330-200, 4 A330-300, and 2 A220-300. Additionally, the airline has 24 Boeing planes, including 6 B737-800, 6 B787-9, 6 B777-300ER, and 6 B737-800BCF. The remaining 13 aircraft are Embraer planes, including 6 E170 and 7 E190.

Recently, Egyptair has made significant deals to expand its fleet. In 2018, the airline signed a letter of intent with Bombardier to purchase up to 24 CS300 aircraft. However, the deal was later canceled, and the airline opted for Airbus A220-300 instead. In 2019, Egyptair also signed a deal with Boeing to purchase 6 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, which are expected to be delivered in 2021 and 2022.
