Egyptair Partnerships & Alliances
Egyptair is a member of the Star Alliance, having joined the alliance in 2008. As a member of the alliance, Egyptair has access to a vast network of airlines, allowing it to offer its customers more destinations and flight options.
In addition to its membership in the Star Alliance, Egyptair has several codeshare agreements with other airlines. These agreements allow Egyptair to sell tickets on flights operated by partner airlines, and vice versa. Some of Egyptair's major codeshare partners include Lufthansa, Turkish Airlines, and Ethiopian Airlines.
Outside of its codeshare agreements, Egyptair has also formed several notable partnerships with other airlines and corporations. For example, Egyptair has a joint venture with Air Cairo, a low-cost carrier based in Egypt. The joint venture allows both airlines to expand their networks and offer more options to customers.
Another notable partnership for Egyptair is its codeshare agreement with Air China. This agreement allows customers to book flights that connect through Cairo and Beijing, providing more options for travel between Egypt and China.
