Emirates History
Emirates, officially known as Emirates Airline, is one of the largest and most well-known airlines in the world. Founded in 1985, the airline is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and is owned by the government of Dubai's Investment Corporation of Dubai.
Emirates was established with the goal of connecting Dubai to the rest of the world and promoting the city as a global hub for business and tourism. In its early years, the airline operated with just two aircraft, a leased Boeing 737 and an Airbus 300 B4. However, it quickly expanded its fleet and route network, adding destinations across the Middle East, Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Americas.
One of the key factors behind Emirates' success is its commitment to providing exceptional service and comfort to its passengers. The airline has continually invested in state-of-the-art aircraft, including the iconic Airbus A380 and the Boeing 777, which offer spacious cabins, luxurious amenities, and the latest in-flight entertainment systems.
