Ethiopian Airlines is the flag carrier of Ethiopia and one of the largest airlines in Africa. The airline operates a fleet of 127 aircraft, serving 125 passenger destinations and 44 cargo destinations worldwide.

The Ethiopian Airlines fleet consists of a variety of aircraft types from different manufacturers. The airline's long-haul fleet includes Airbus A350, Boeing 777, and Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft. However, due to the global grounding of the 737 MAX, the delivery of these aircraft was delayed. In 2019, Ethiopian Airlines also signed a deal with Airbus for the purchase of 20 Airbus A220-300 aircraft, which are expected to be delivered in the coming years.

Ethiopian Airlines has a reputation for maintaining a young and modern fleet. According to the airline, the average age of its aircraft is less than five years, which is significantly lower than the industry average.
