Pets in Passenger Cabin: Ethiopian Airlines allows a limited number of dogs or cats to travel in the cabin on each flight. In Economy class, a maximum of 2 pets are permitted, while in Business class, only 1 pet is allowed. It is important to note that the combined weight of the pet and carrier cannot exceed 17 lbs (8 kg) to qualify for travel in the cabin.

Allowed Weights & Dimensions: For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers must not exceed the dimensions of 21" x 15" x 8" (55 cm X 40 cm X 20 cm). However, if your pet is traveling as checked baggage, the carrier may exceed these dimensions.
Restrictions & Limitations: Ethiopian Airlines only accepts dogs as emotional support animals. However, in order for a dog to qualify as an emotional support animal, there must be a medical doctor's attestation stating the medical or therapeutic need for the animal to travel in the cabin.
