EVA Air: Aircraft Fleet
EVA Air is a Taiwanese international airline that operates a modern fleet of aircraft. The airline has a total of 82 aircraft in its fleet, which includes both passenger and cargo planes.
The majority of EVA Air's fleet consists of Boeing aircraft. The airline has a total of 34 Boeing 777 planes, which are used for long-haul flights to destinations in North America, Europe, and Australia. In addition, EVA Air also operates 22 Airbus A321 planes, which are used for short-haul flights to destinations in Asia.
Recently, EVA Air has made significant deals to upgrade its aircraft fleet. In 2018, the airline signed a deal with Boeing to purchase 24 Boeing 787 Dreamliner planes. The first of these planes was delivered to EVA Air in October 2018, and the airline plans to use them to replace its older Boeing 747 planes.
EVA Air also has a codeshare agreement with Singapore Airlines, which allows the airline to use some of Singapore Airlines' aircraft on certain routes. This has allowed EVA Air to expand its network and offer more flights to destinations in Southeast Asia.
