French Bee Pet Policy

French Bee is a pet-friendly airline that allows passengers to travel with their furry friends. If you're planning to bring your pet along on your journey, here's everything you need to know about French Bee's pet policy.

Pet Reservation Info: French Bee requires passengers to inform them that they are planning to travel with their pets at the time of reservation. As the transport of animals is subject to quotas, it is advisable that you contact French Bee via telephone at 833-376-7158 as soon as your travel plans are confirmed.

Pets in Passenger Cabin: Small dogs and cats can travel in the cabin with French Bee if the combined weight of the pet and carrier does not exceed 17 lbs (8 kg). Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to travel in the cabin with their owners. They must remain inside their carrier, underneath the seat in front for the duration of the journey. The fee for pets traveling on board is 50 EUR per trip.

Guidance, Tips, & info on Airlines and Airports

Pets as Checked Baggage: Larger pets can travel as checked baggage with French Bee if the combined weight of the pet and carrier does not exceed 165 lbs (75 kg). 2 adult animals can be transported in the same cage on the condition that they are of similar size, both weigh under 30 lbs (14 kg), and are used to each other’s company. The fee for transporting pets as checked baggage is 70 EUR per trip.

Allowed Weights & Dimensions: For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers should not exceed the dimensions of 17" L x 14" W x 8" H (43 cm x 35 cm x 20 cm). They should be waterproof and made of a flexible material. For pets traveling as checked baggage, carriers should not exceed the dimensions of 48" L x 32" W x 35" H (121 cm x 82 cm x 89 cm).

Restrictions & Limitations: Animals are not permitted to fly with French Bee to/from Papeete, Tahiti. Snub-nosed animals, such as pugs, bulldogs, boxers, Pekinese, shih tsu, and Persian cats are not allowed to fly on board.
