Hainan Airlines Pet Policy
Hainan Airlines, unfortunately, does not allow pets to travel in the cabin on any of their flights. However, cats and dogs can travel as checked baggage if the combined weight of the pet and carrier does not exceed 70 lbs (32 kg). Each passenger is allowed to transport 2 pets on board, but they must travel in separate carriers.
The fee for transporting pets as checked baggage is calculated using the excess baggage formula of 1.5% of the average ticket price multiplied by the overall weight of your pet and carrier. It's important to note that the maximum fee for this service is 8000 RMB.
If you are planning to travel with your pet on Hainan Airlines, it's essential to comply with their allowed weights and dimensions for carriers. The carriers can be any size between the dimensions of 20" x 15" x 15" (53 cm x 38 cm x 40 cm) and 47" x 32" x 34" (121 cm x 81 cm x 88 cm).
