Jeju Air History
Jeju Air is a South Korean low-cost airline that was established in 2005. It is the first and largest low-cost carrier in the country, offering domestic and international flights to various destinations.
The airline was founded with the aim of providing affordable air travel options to the Korean public, particularly to the popular tourist destination of Jeju Island. Jeju Air initially operated with a single Boeing 737-800 aircraft, serving routes between Seoul and Jeju Island.
