Jetblue: Aircraft Fleet

Jetblue is a low-cost American airline that operates a fleet of Airbus and Embraer aircraft. The airline has a total of 270 aircraft in its fleet.

The Airbus A320 family is the backbone of Jetblue's fleet, with a total of 130 aircraft in service. The airline also operates the larger Airbus A321, with 63 aircraft in service. In addition, Jetblue has ordered 85 Airbus A321neo aircraft, which are expected to be delivered in the coming years.

Jetblue also operates a fleet of Embraer E190 aircraft, with a total of 60 planes in service. However, the airline has announced plans to retire its E190 fleet and replace them with newer Airbus A220 aircraft, which are more fuel-efficient and have a longer range. Jetblue has ordered a total of 70 A220 aircraft, with deliveries expected to begin in 2020.

In recent years, Jetblue has made significant deals regarding its aircraft fleet. In 2018, the airline announced an order for 60 Airbus A220-300 aircraft, which was the largest order for the type at the time. The deal was valued at $5.4 billion and was seen as a major win for Airbus, which was competing against Boeing for the order.
