KLM Royal Dutch Airlines: Aircraft Fleet
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, also known as KLM, is the flag carrier airline of the Netherlands. The airline operates a fleet of 119 aircraft, consisting of both narrow-body and wide-body planes.
The majority of KLM's fleet is made up of Boeing aircraft, with 79 planes in service. This includes 13 Boeing 737-700s, 28 Boeing 737-800s, 5 Boeing 737-900s, 15 Boeing 777-200ERs, 14 Boeing 777-300ERs, and 4 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners. KLM also operates 29 Embraer E190s for regional flights.
In addition to its current fleet, KLM has made significant deals in the past regarding aircraft. The airline ordered 21 Boeing 787-10 Dreamliners to replace its aging fleet of Boeing 747s. KLM also has plans to introduce the Airbus A350-900 to its fleet in the near future.
