Ryanair: Aircraft Fleet
Ryanair is one of the largest low-cost airlines in Europe, operating a fleet of Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The airline has a total of 460 aircraft, making it one of the largest operators of the 737-800 in the world.
The Boeing 737-800 is a popular aircraft for low-cost carriers due to its fuel efficiency and low operating costs. Ryanair's fleet is relatively young, with an average age of just 6.5 years. The airline has also placed orders for the newer Boeing 737 MAX, which it plans to start operating in the near future.
In addition to its fleet of Boeing 737-800s, Ryanair has also made significant deals regarding aircraft. In 2018, the airline signed a deal with Boeing for 100 737 MAX aircraft, with options for an additional 100. The deal was worth over $22 billion at list prices, making it one of the largest aircraft orders in history.
Ryanair's fleet is constantly evolving, with the airline regularly adding new aircraft to its fleet. The airline also operates a number of bases across Europe, with each base having its own fleet of aircraft.
