Sata International Airlines Pet Policy
Sata International Airlines welcomes small pets to travel in the cabin with their owners. The allowed pets include cats, dogs, ferrets, guinea pigs, hamsters, chinchillas, rabbits, tortoises/turtles, and aquarium fish. To ensure the safety and comfort of both the pet and the passengers, the combined weight of the pet and carrier must not exceed 17 lbs (8 kg).
If you are traveling with a pet in the cabin, please note that there is a fee associated with it. On domestic flights, the fee is 6 EUR per kg. For flights to Europe and Africa, the fee is 70 EUR, and for flights to the U.S. and Canada, the fee is $175.
In case your pet exceeds the weight limit to travel in the cabin, Sata International Airlines also allows pets to be transported as checked baggage. The maximum combined weight for pets and their carriers in the hold is 99 lbs (45 kg). Please keep in mind that fees apply when weight limits are exceeded.
