Srilankan Airlines: Aircraft Fleet
Srilankan Airlines is the flag carrier airline of Sri Lanka, headquartered in Colombo. The airline operates a fleet of 27 aircraft, serving 64 destinations in 34 countries across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
The Srilankan Airlines fleet consists of a mix of Airbus and Bombardier aircraft. The airline operates 7 Airbus A320-200, 7 Airbus A321-200, 4 Airbus A330-200, and 2 Airbus A330-300 for its medium to long-haul flights. For its regional flights, the airline uses 5 Bombardier Q400 aircraft, and 2 De Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter aircraft.
Recently, Srilankan Airlines signed a deal with Airbus to purchase 6 Airbus A330neo aircraft, which are expected to be delivered in 2022. The airline also has plans to expand its fleet by adding more regional aircraft to its fleet in the near future.
