In recent years, Vietnam Airlines has made significant deals regarding aircraft. In 2015, the airline signed a deal with Airbus to purchase 10 Airbus A350-900 aircraft. In 2016, the airline signed a deal with Boeing to purchase 10 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft. These deals were made to expand the airline's fleet and improve its services.
