Extra, Oversized, and Special Items

Musical instruments can be carried on board as long as they fit within the carry-on baggage dimensions and there is space available in the cabin. If the instrument is too large, it may need to be checked as oversized baggage.
For other non-standard items, such as fragile or valuable items, it is recommended to contact Virgin Atlantic directly to inquire about any specific rules or restrictions.
Note that air carriers often change the details of these rules and requirements, so be sure to check directly with the airline on the day you are flying for the most accurate information.
