Virgin Australia is currently not part of any major airline alliance.
However, the airline has several codeshare agreements with other carriers, including Delta Air Lines, Air New Zealand, Singapore Airlines, and Etihad Airways. These agreements allow for seamless travel for passengers, as they can book connecting flights on multiple airlines using a single ticket.
In addition to codeshare agreements, Virgin Australia has a joint venture partnership with Air New Zealand, which allows for coordinated schedules, pricing, and sales on trans-Tasman routes between Australia and New Zealand.
Virgin Australia also has a partnership with Delta Air Lines, which allows for reciprocal frequent flyer benefits and lounge access for eligible passengers.
Lastly, Virgin Australia has a partnership with several hotel and car rental companies, including Hilton, Hertz, and Avis, which allows for earning and redeeming Velocity frequent flyer points for these services.
