The Airbus A320 family is the backbone of Volaris' fleet, with a total of 80 aircraft in service. The airline has 34 A320neo and 13 A321neo planes, which are equipped with the latest technology to reduce fuel consumption and emissions, making them more environmentally friendly. Volaris has made significant deals to expand its fleet and improve its services. In 2018, the airline signed a purchase agreement with Airbus for 80 A320neo and A321neo aircraft, which will be delivered between 2022 and 2026.
