Vueling Airlines Pet Policy
If you're planning to travel with your furry friend, Vueling Airlines welcomes small pets to join their owners in the cabin on select flights. This means that you don't have to leave your beloved pet behind when you fly with Vueling. However, there are some important guidelines and restrictions that you should be aware of before booking your ticket.
Each passenger is allowed to travel with only one pet in the cabin, and there is a maximum of two pets allowed on each flight. To ensure that your pet has a spot on the flight, it is recommended to book their reservation as soon as you finalize your travel plans. You can contact the Vueling Customer Service Center at (+34) 931-518-158 to check availability.
When it comes to the types of pets that are allowed, Vueling accepts dogs, cats, birds, fish, and turtles. However, it's important to note that pets with special characteristics such as an unpleasant smell, poor health, inadequate hygiene, or violent behavior are not allowed to travel as they may cause distress or danger to fellow passengers and crew.

The combined weight of the pet and carrier must be less than 17 lbs (8 kg). Additionally, the carrier must be soft-sided and not exceed the maximum dimensions of 17" x 15" x 8" (45 cm x 39 cm x 21 cm). It is essential that the carrier has breathing holes and a waterproof bottom to ensure the safety and comfort of your pet during the journey. Food and drink bowls must also be securely covered inside the carrier to prevent spillage. Homemade carriers are not accepted, so make sure to have an appropriate carrier for your pet.
It's important to note that Vueling does not allow larger pets to travel in the hold on their flights. They also do not offer their own cargo service for animals. Therefore, if you have a larger pet that cannot travel in the cabin, you will need to explore alternative options for their transportation.
The pet fees vary depending on the destination. For domestic flights, the fee is 30 EUR, while dogs traveling on international and Canary Island flights incur a charge of 45 EUR. It's always a good idea to check the specific fees and requirements for your particular route before making any arrangements.
Remember that air carriers can change their pet policies at any time, so it's essential to check directly with Vueling Airlines before you book your ticket to ensure you have the most accurate and up-to-date information.
