Westjet Airlines is a Canadian low-cost airline that operates a fleet of Boeing and Bombardier aircraft. The airline has a total of 125 aircraft in its fleet.
The airline's fleet consists of 13 Boeing 737 MAX 8, 52 Boeing 737-800, 6 Boeing 767-300ER, and 54 Bombardier Q400 aircraft. The Boeing 737 MAX 8 is the newest addition to the fleet, with the first aircraft delivered in 2018. The airline has a further 22 Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft on order, which are expected to be delivered by 2022.
Westjet Airlines has made significant deals regarding its aircraft fleet. In 2013, the airline announced an order for 65 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, which was the largest single order in the airline's history. The order included 40 Boeing 737 MAX 8 and 25 Boeing 737 MAX 7 aircraft. The airline also has a firm order for 10 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, which are expected to be delivered by 2022.
