Getting Around CWA Airport
The airport features a single terminal building, making navigation relatively straightforward. Upon entering the terminal, passengers will find the check-in counters for American and Delta airlines conveniently located near the entrance. This central area also houses the security checkpoint, which has been expanded to efficiently handle passenger flow.
After passing through security, travelers will enter the concourse area, which includes five departure gates. Four of these gates are equipped with boarding bridges, providing easy access to aircraft. The concourse has been recently updated with modern amenities, including state-of-the-art restrooms, privacy rooms, and a variety of seating options with charging stations. For those in need of a meal or a quick snack, the cafe has been expanded to offer additional food options.
To make your experience even smoother, here are some tips:
- Look for the charging stanchions if you need to power up your devices.
- Utilize the privacy rooms if you require a quiet space.
- Check the updated gate area seating for a comfortable wait before boarding.

Both checkpoints are equipped with advanced security screening technology to ensure the safety of all passengers and their belongings.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
CWA does not currently offer fast track lanes for expedited security screening. However, TSA PreCheck is available for eligible passengers, which allows for a faster and more efficient screening process. TSA PreCheck lanes are located at both security checkpoints in the terminal.

TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
The Central Wisconsin Airport (CWA) has TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints to ensure the safety and security of all passengers. TSA Pre Check is a program that allows expedited screening for low-risk passengers. This program is available for eligible passengers who have applied and been approved for TSA Pre Check. It allows them to keep their shoes, belts, and light jackets on, and their laptops and liquids in their bags while going through security.
