Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
EVV Airport has one security checkpoint located on the main level of the terminal building. Passengers are required to go through security screening before entering the gate area. The security checkpoint is equipped with advanced imaging technology scanners and metal detectors to ensure the safety of all passengers and their belongings. Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport at least 90 minutes before their scheduled departure time to allow enough time for security screening.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
The airport does not currently offer fast track lanes for expedited security screening. However, TSA PreCheck is available for eligible passengers, which allows them to go through a dedicated screening lane and keep on their shoes, belts, and light jackets, and leave laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags. TSA PreCheck is located at the main security checkpoint and can be accessed by passengers who have enrolled in the program or are part of a trusted traveler program.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
EVV does not have international flights and therefore does not have a passport control or immigration checkpoint. However, passengers traveling to international destinations from Evansville Regional Airport will go through customs and immigration at their final destination. It is important for passengers to check the entry requirements and necessary travel documents for their destination country before traveling.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
At Evansville Airport, TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints are available for all passengers. TSA Pre Check is a program that allows eligible passengers to enjoy expedited screening at security checkpoints. This means that you can keep your shoes, belts, and light jackets on, and your laptop and liquids in your carry-on bag. To enroll in TSA Pre Check, you can apply online or in person at an enrollment center. TSA Pre Check is valid for five years and costs $85. If you are a frequent traveler, TSA Pre Check can save you time and hassle at the airport.

To enroll in Global Entry, you must complete an online application and schedule an interview at an enrollment center. Global Entry is valid for five years and costs $100. If you frequently travel internationally, Global Entry can save you time and hassle at U.S. Customs and Border Protection checkpoints.
