Getting Around HHN Airport
HHN Airport features two passenger terminals, designated as Terminal A and Terminal B. Both terminals offer a range of amenities including shops and restaurants to cater to travelers' needs. Notably, there is a McDonald's located within the terminal area. Navigating between these terminals is straightforward, as they are situated closely to one another. Signage throughout the airport is clear, making it easy to find your way to your gate, baggage claim, or other facilities.
The airport apron includes 11 stands for mid-sized aircraft, such as the Boeing 737. Passengers typically reach these stands on foot, so be prepared for a short walk to board your flight. For those traveling with cargo, there is a separate cargo terminal with three stands designed to accommodate larger aircraft like the Boeing 747-8F. Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
HHN Airport has security checkpoints located in both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. In Terminal 1, the security checkpoint is located on the ground floor, near the entrance to the departure area. In Terminal 2, the security checkpoint is located on the first floor, near the entrance to the departure area. It is recommended that passengers arrive at the airport at least two hours before their flight to allow enough time for security screening.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
The airport offers a Fast Track service for passengers who want to bypass the regular security lines. The Fast Track service is available in both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. In Terminal 1, the Fast Track lane is located near the regular security checkpoint on the ground floor. In Terminal 2, the Fast Track lane is located near the regular security checkpoint on the first floor. Passengers can purchase the Fast Track service online or at the airport.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
Passport and immigration control at HHN is located in the arrivals area of both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Passengers arriving from outside the Schengen Area will need to go through passport control before collecting their luggage. After passport control, passengers will proceed to the baggage claim area to collect their luggage. Passengers arriving from within the Schengen Area will not need to go through passport control, but will still need to collect their luggage in the baggage claim area.
