Getting Around GTF Airport
The airport features a single terminal building, making navigation straightforward for travelers. The terminal is divided into two main areas: the concourse and the baggage claim area. Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
Great Falls Airport has two security checkpoints, one located on the first floor near the baggage claim area and the other on the second floor near the departure gates. The airport recommends arriving at least 90 minutes before your scheduled departure time to allow enough time for security screening.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
GTF Airport does not currently offer a fast track or priority lane for security screening. However, TSA PreCheck is available for eligible passengers, which allows for expedited screening and the ability to keep on shoes, belts, and light jackets.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
The airport does not have international flights, so there are no passport or immigration control locations within the airport. However, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) services are available at nearby international airports such as Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and Denver International Airport.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
GTF has both TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints available for passengers. The TSA Checkpoint is located on the main level of the terminal, and the TSA Pre Checkpoint is located near the Delta Airlines check-in counter. TSA Pre Check is a program that allows expedited screening for eligible passengers, which can save time and reduce stress during the security process. To enroll in TSA Pre Check, passengers must apply online and complete a background check.

Global Entry Locations
Global Entry is a program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers entering the United States. Great Falls Airport does not have a Global Entry Enrollment Center on-site, but there are several locations nearby where travelers can complete the enrollment process. The closest enrollment center is located in Helena, Montana, which is approximately 85 miles from Great Falls. Other nearby enrollment centers include Spokane, Washington and Calgary, Canada.
