Additionally, discover details about the absence of fast track lanes, Global Entry, and CLEAR services, along with helpful links to further resources and special offers for expedited security programs.
Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
At Hagerstown Airport, there is one security checkpoint located on the second floor of the terminal building. It is easily accessible from the main entrance and is open daily from 4:30am to 6:30pm. Passengers are advised to arrive at least two hours prior to their scheduled departure time to allow enough time for security screening.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
Unfortunately, HGR Airport does not currently offer any fast track lanes for expedited security screening. However, passengers with disabilities or medical conditions may request assistance from TSA Cares, a program that provides additional support and accommodations during the security screening process. More information about TSA Cares can be found on the TSA website.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
As a domestic airport, the airport does not have any passport or immigration control locations. All flights departing from HGR are domestic flights within the United States. However, passengers are still required to present a valid form of government-issued photo identification, such as a driver's license or passport, at the security checkpoint.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
At Hagerstown Regional Airport, TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints are available to ensure a smooth and efficient security screening process. TSA Pre Check allows eligible passengers to enjoy expedited screening, which means they can keep their shoes, belts, and light jackets on, and their laptops and liquids in their bags. To enroll in TSA Pre Check, passengers must apply online, schedule an appointment, and complete a background check. The TSA checkpoint opens 90 minutes before the first flight of the day and closes 30 minutes before the last flight.
