Getting Around HYD Airport
The airport features an integrated passenger terminal that handles both domestic and international flights. The terminal is divided into two main sections: the western side for international flights and the eastern side for domestic operations. With a built-up area of 274,118 m², the terminal is designed to accommodate up to 40 million passengers annually. The layout is straightforward, with clear signage and information desks available to assist travelers.
Upon arrival, passengers will find 87 check-in desks and 14 self-check-in kiosks to streamline the boarding process. For those needing to transfer between domestic flights, there is a dedicated domestic-to-domestic transfer area equipped with three ATRS machines and one screening machine. The terminal also boasts 10 baggage claim belts, with seven designated for domestic flights and three for international flights, ensuring efficient luggage retrieval.
For passenger comfort, the terminal offers multiple lounge options. Encalm Lounge operates three public lounges, and there are three additional lounges reserved for VIPs. The "airport village" located in the pre-security area serves as a convenient meeting point for passenger pick-up. With 44 passenger boarding aero bridges and 56 remote bus departure gates, navigating through the terminal is both efficient and convenient.

HYD Airport has security checkpoints located at various points throughout the airport terminals. Passengers are required to go through security screening before entering the boarding area. The domestic terminal has two security checkpoints, one at the entrance and the other near the boarding gates. The international terminal has three security checkpoints, one at the entrance, one near the check-in counters, and the other near the boarding gates. The security checkpoints are equipped with x-ray machines, metal detectors, and body scanners to ensure the safety and security of all passengers.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
The airport offers fast track services to passengers who want to skip the regular queues at security checkpoints and immigration counters. The fast track service is available for both domestic and international passengers. The fast track lanes are located at the security checkpoints and immigration counters.
