STN Airport features a single main passenger terminal, simplifying your navigation through its facilities. This terminal is the central hub for all check-ins, security checks, and baggage claims. From here, you can access several departure gates, which are organized into three satellite buildings. Depending on your gate location, you might need to travel to one of these satellites to board your flight.
To get to these satellites, you can walk to the one connected by an air bridge directly from the main terminal. For the other two satellites, you will use the Stansted Airport Transit System, an automated people mover. Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
Stansted Airport has several security checkpoints located throughout the airport. Passengers can find security checkpoints at the entrance of each terminal, including the main terminal, Terminal A, Terminal B, and Terminal C. The airport advises passengers to arrive at the airport at least two hours before their scheduled departure time to allow enough time for security checks.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations

Passport and immigration control at the airport is located in the main terminal building. Passengers arriving from outside the UK will need to go through passport control before exiting the airport. Passengers departing from the airport will need to go through passport control before boarding their flight. The airport advises passengers to have all necessary travel documents, including passports and visas, ready before arriving at the airport to avoid delays at passport control.

Passengers are advised to check the flight information screens to find out which baggage claim area their luggage will be arriving at. Once at the baggage claim area, passengers can collect their luggage from the conveyor belts and proceed to customs.
