Getting Around OSL Airport

The airport is divided into several distinct areas to help passengers navigate efficiently. The terminal spans 265,000 square meters and features 72 gates. The west wing of the terminal is dedicated to domestic flights, with the A-gates located here. Additionally, the west wing connects to the south pier, which houses eight B-gates. These gates are primarily used for early morning international Schengen flights and are accessed via a shuttle bus from the international area of the terminal.

The north pier, opened in 2017, consists of 11 gates and is split into two levels: the top floor for domestic flights and the lower floor for international Schengen flights. Nine of these gates can be configured as either domestic C-gates or international Schengen D-gates, while the two northernmost gates are exclusively for international flights.

For international travelers, the east pier is the main area to be aware of. Schengen flights use the E-gates, while non-Schengen flights are assigned to the F-gates at the easternmost end of the terminal. The east pier also includes four flexigates, which can be switched between Schengen and non-Schengen flights as needed. These gates are closely monitored to ensure passengers follow the correct procedures for border control.
