Getting Around PSA Airport
The terminal at PSA Airport is organized into two main gate areas. Gates 1–11 are located on the ground floor and primarily serve Schengen flights. Passengers using these gates typically board their flights via shuttle buses that transport them directly to the aircraft. For non-Schengen flights, gates 21–25 are situated on level one, where a combination of walk-boarding, bus-boarding, and jetway boarding methods are employed. Although gate 23 is equipped with a jetbridge, it is rarely used.
To navigate between these areas, clear signage is available throughout the terminal, guiding passengers to their respective gates. For those needing assistance, information desks are strategically placed within the terminal, and airport staff are readily available to help. Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
Pisa Airport has two security checkpoints located in the Departures area of the terminal. The first checkpoint is located on the ground floor, near the check-in counters, while the second checkpoint is located on the first floor, near the boarding gates. Both checkpoints are equipped with x-ray machines and metal detectors to ensure the safety of all passengers and their belongings.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
Passengers who wish to skip the regular security lines can use the Fast Track lanes at Pisa Airport. The Fast Track service is available for a fee and can be purchased online or at the airport. The Fast Track lanes are located at both security checkpoints in the Departures area of the terminal.
