Getting Around PDX Airport
The airport features a single passenger terminal divided into four concourses: B, C, D, and E. With a total of 60 gates, the layout is designed to facilitate easy movement between different sections. Concourse B and C primarily serve domestic flights, while Concourse D and E handle both domestic and international flights. The international section of Concourse D is named the Governor Victor G. Atiyeh International Concourse.
To navigate the terminal efficiently, travelers can make use of the clear signage and information displays located throughout the airport. Here are some tips for getting around:

Security & Screening
In this section, you'll find comprehensive information on the various security and screening processes at the airport. Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
PDX has several security checkpoints located throughout the airport. The main security checkpoint is located in the center of the terminal building, near the entrance to Concourse C. There are also additional security checkpoints located at the entrances to Concourses A, B, and D. Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport at least two hours before their scheduled departure time to allow enough time to pass through security.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
Portland Airport offers a TSA PreCheck program that allows eligible passengers to use a dedicated lane for expedited security screening. The TSA PreCheck lane is located at the main security checkpoint in the center of the terminal building, near the entrance to Concourse C. In addition, some airlines offer their own fast track lanes for their premium passengers. These lanes are typically located near the main security checkpoint.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
Portland Airport has a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) facility located in the International Arrivals area of the terminal building. Passengers arriving on international flights are required to pass through CBP processing before exiting the airport. The CBP facility is located near the baggage claim area in the lower level of the terminal building. Passengers are advised to have all necessary travel documents, including passports and visas, ready for inspection by CBP officers.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
PDX Airport has several TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints located throughout the airport. These checkpoints are designed to streamline the security process for travelers and allow those who have enrolled in TSA Pre to move through security more quickly. TSA Pre is a program that allows travelers to keep on their shoes, belts, and light jackets, and keep their laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags. To enroll in TSA Pre, travelers must complete an application process and pay a fee.

Global Entry Locations
The airport is home to a Global Entry Enrollment Center, which allows travelers to complete the application process for the Global Entry program. Global Entry is a program that allows travelers to expedite their entry into the United States when returning from international travel. To enroll in Global Entry, travelers must complete an application process, attend an interview, and pay a fee. The enrollment center at PDX makes it easy for travelers to complete this process before their trip, saving them time and hassle when they return to the United States.

Baggage Claim Areas
PDX Airport has four baggage claim areas located on the lower level of the main terminal. Baggage claim carousels are clearly marked with flight information and airline logos. If you need assistance with your baggage, you can find baggage service offices near each baggage claim area.
