Getting Around SBA Airport
The airport features a single terminal with two floors, making navigation straightforward for travelers. Upon entering the terminal, you'll find the check-in counters and baggage claim area on the first floor. Elevators and escalators are available to take you to the second floor, where the departure gates are located.
The second floor houses five gates, ensuring that all boarding and departure activities are centralized in one area. Fast Track Lanes and Locations
While Santa Barbara Muni Airport does not offer dedicated fast track lanes, passengers can take advantage of the TSA PreCheck lane for expedited screening. The TSA PreCheck program allows eligible passengers to keep on their shoes, belts, and light jackets, and keep their laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
As a domestic airport, Santa Barbara Airport does not have passport and immigration control locations. However, passengers traveling internationally will need to clear customs and immigration at their port of entry into the United States.

At SBA Airport, TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints are available for passengers to go through security screening. TSA Pre Check is a program that allows eligible passengers to go through a faster and more convenient screening process. Global Entry Locations
Global Entry is a program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers entering the United States. At the airport, there is no Global Entry enrollment center. However, there are several enrollment centers located in nearby cities such as Los Angeles and San Francisco. To apply for Global Entry, travelers must complete an online application and schedule an in-person interview at an enrollment center. Once approved, Global Entry members can use automated kiosks to complete their customs declaration and skip the long lines at customs.
