Getting Around ANC Airport
ANC Airport features two main terminals: the South Terminal primarily for domestic flights and the North Terminal for international and some seasonal charter flights. The South Terminal is the larger of the two, housing three concourses: Concourse A, Concourse B, and Concourse C. Each concourse is accessible through the main terminal area, which also includes essential services like check-in counters and baggage claim. Concourse C, the most recently renovated, offers a modern layout and facilities.
Here are some tips for navigating inside the airport:- Familiarize yourself with the terminal your flight departs from. The South Terminal handles domestic airlines, while the North Terminal is for international travel.- Concourses A and B in the South Terminal are connected, making it easier to move between gates if your flights are within these areas.- For international flights, head directly to the North Terminal. It’s smaller and less complex than the South Terminal, with all gates relatively close to each other.- Look for airport signage or consult airport staff if you need directions or assistance moving between terminals and concourses.
