Getting Around YKF Airport

The Region of Waterloo Airport has one security checkpoint located on the main level of the terminal building. The checkpoint is easily accessible for all passengers and is open 24/7. The airport advises passengers to arrive at least 90 minutes before their scheduled departure time to allow for enough time to pass through security.

Fast Track Lanes and Locations

Unfortunately, the Region of Waterloo Airport does not currently offer any fast track lanes for passengers. However, the airport does offer a pre-screening program called Nexus, which allows for expedited processing at security checkpoints for eligible travelers.
