Getting Around OKC Airport

OKC Airport features a single, three-level terminal that simplifies navigation despite its size. The terminal is divided into the West Concourse and Central Concourse. Gates 1 through 12 are located in the West Concourse, while Gates 14 through 24 are in the Central Concourse. It's important to note that gates on the south side are numbered evenly, and those on the north are numbered oddly, with some numbers skipped in the sequence.

When you're inside the airport, finding your way can be straightforward. All departure gates are accessible from the main terminal area, which is designed with high ceilings and clear signage to guide you to your destination. If you're arriving, the baggage claim is on the lower level, where you'll find nine baggage belts. For those needing to reach airline or airport offices, these are located on Level 3. Elevators and escalators are available across the terminal to help you move between levels efficiently.

Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)

Oklahoma City Airport has several security checkpoints located throughout the airport. The main security checkpoint is located on the upper level of the terminal, near the ticket counters. There are also additional security checkpoints located in the West Concourse for passengers traveling on certain airlines. It is recommended that passengers arrive at the airport at least two hours before their scheduled departure time to allow for enough time to go through security.

Fast Track Lanes and Locations

Passengers who are looking to expedite their security screening process can take advantage of the TSA PreCheck program. This program allows for eligible passengers to use dedicated lanes for a faster and more efficient screening process. The TSA PreCheck lanes are located at the main security checkpoint in the terminal. Additionally, some airlines offer their own fast track lanes for their premium passengers. These lanes are typically located in the West Concourse.

Passport & Immigration Control Locations

The passport and immigration control area at OKC Airport is located on the lower level of the terminal, near baggage claim. This area is where international passengers will go through customs and immigration upon arrival in the United States. It is important for passengers to have all necessary travel documents, such as a passport and visa, ready for inspection by immigration officials. After clearing customs, passengers can proceed to baggage claim to retrieve their luggage and exit the airport.

TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints

At the airport, there are multiple TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints located throughout the terminal. These checkpoints are designed to ensure the safety and security of all passengers and their belongings. TSA Pre Check is a program that allows eligible passengers to enjoy expedited screening, which means they can keep their shoes, belts, and light jackets on, as well as leave laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags. To be eligible for TSA Pre Check, passengers must apply and be approved through the TSA Pre Check program.

To apply for Global Entry, passengers must complete an online application and schedule an appointment for an interview at a Global Entry Enrollment Center. The enrollment process includes a background check and fingerprinting. Once approved, Global Entry members can use automated kiosks to bypass the traditional customs and passport control lines.
