After clearing security, you can relax in the waiting area that serves both of the airport's gates. For your convenience, the Red River Valley Grill offers food and beverages on both the public and secured sides of the terminal. Additionally, there is a small gift shop within the grill area, perfect for picking up last-minute souvenirs or travel essentials.
To summarize, here are the key points for getting around the terminal:

Security & Screening
In this section, you'll discover essential information about the security and screening processes at the airport. Learn about the locations of security checkpoints, the availability of TSA PreCheck and Global Entry, and the absence of fast track and CLEAR lanes. Additionally, find out how to renew or enroll in TSA PreCheck to enjoy expedited security screening. Whether you're a frequent traveler or preparing for a one-time trip, this guide will help you navigate the security procedures smoothly and efficiently.
Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
GFK Airport has two security checkpoints located in the terminal building. One is located near the entrance of the terminal, and the other is located near the gate area. Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport at least 90 minutes before their scheduled departure time to allow enough time for security screening.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
The airport does not currently offer fast track lanes for expedited security screening. However, TSA PreCheck is available for eligible passengers, which allows them to go through a dedicated security lane and keep on their shoes, belts, and light jackets, as well as leave laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
GFK does not have international flights, so there are no passport and immigration control locations within the airport. However, passengers traveling internationally from nearby airports, such as Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, will go through passport and immigration control upon arrival in the United States.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
At Grand Forks Airport, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) operates security checkpoints for all departing passengers. These checkpoints include standard security measures such as metal detectors and X-ray scanners for carry-on luggage. Additionally, passengers who have enrolled in TSA PreCheck can enjoy expedited screening, which allows them to keep their shoes, belts, and light jackets on, and keep their laptops and liquids in their bags. TSA PreCheck is available at Grand Forks Airport for eligible passengers who have enrolled in the program.

Global Entry Locations
Global Entry is a program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers arriving in the United States. At GFK Airport, Global Entry is available for eligible travelers who have enrolled in the program. The Global Entry location at the airport is located in the arrivals area of the terminal. Travelers who have enrolled in Global Entry can skip the traditional passport control line and use a self-service kiosk to complete their entry into the United States. This can save valuable time and make the arrival process smoother and more efficient.
CLEAR Lane Locations
This airport does not currently have CLEAR Lanes. However, you still might be able to use CLEAR if you are traveling to or from another airport that does. You can easily check CLEAR airport locations and learn more about how to save a ton of time on your next trip!
