Getting Around MDT Airport

The terminal at MDT Airport is designed with a pier finger layout, which facilitates straightforward navigation for travelers. All gates are centrally located near the middle of the airfield, running almost parallel to the runway. This layout means that once you're inside, all essential facilities and gates are relatively close to each other, minimizing the need for extensive walking or confusion.

Here are some tips to help you move around the terminal efficiently:

  • Gate Information: Be aware of your airline’s specific gate usage to head directly to your area. For instance, Delta Air Lines operates from gates A1 and A3, while American Airlines uses gates B2, C1, C2, and C3.
  • Unused Gates: Note that gates A2, B4, and B5 are currently unused, which might reduce crowding in these areas.
  • Signage: Follow the clear signage to reach your desired gate or service area swiftly. The signs will guide you to restrooms, exits, and service counters.
