Getting Around LTN Airport
The airport features a single, two-storey passenger terminal building designed for efficient navigation. On the ground floor, travelers will find the main hall, which includes 62 check-in desks numbered 1 through 62, a security screening hall, as well as various shops, service counters, and the arrivals facilities. This layout allows passengers to complete their initial check-in and security procedures in a centralized area.
After passing through the security screening, passengers can access the departures lounge on the upper floor via stairs. The upper floor houses a variety of shops and restaurants, providing ample options for dining and shopping while waiting for flights. The departures lounge also includes 30 departure gates, organized into three side piers: gates 1-19, 20-28, and 30-43, making it easier for travelers to locate their specific gate. Additionally, there is one airport lounge available for passengers seeking a more comfortable and private waiting area.

Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
LTN Airport has several security checkpoints located throughout the terminal building. Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport with plenty of time to spare, especially during peak travel periods, as queues at security can be lengthy. The main security checkpoint is located on the ground floor of the terminal building, near the check-in desks. There are also additional security checkpoints located near the departure gates for certain flights.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
Fast Track lanes are available for passengers who wish to expedite their journey through security. These lanes are available for an additional fee and can be booked online in advance or at the airport on the day of travel. Fast Track lanes are located at the main security checkpoint on the ground floor of the terminal building, as well as at certain departure gates. Passengers are advised to check with their airline to see if Fast Track is available for their flight.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
Passport control is located on the first floor of the terminal building, after security. Passengers arriving from outside the UK will need to go through passport control before collecting their luggage and exiting the airport. There are several passport control desks available to process passengers, but queues can be lengthy during peak travel periods. Passengers are advised to have all necessary travel documents ready and to follow the instructions of airport staff to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
